Overview
Let's celebrate 110 years of the birth of Dada and the Cabaret Voltaire with a guided tour to the places where the Dadaists performed, exhibited, and raised hell! Dada began in February 1916 with a group of emigres - Tristan Tzara, Marcel and Georges Janco, Hans Richter, Sophie Teuber-Arp and Jean Arp, and many others - trying to escape from the horrors of WWI. They named their activities, which shocked and defied polite society, Dada. This walk through the city and through the history of Dada will also be interactive, so be prepared to participate! Bring good walking shoes and a sun hat.
