Domaine Faller-Weinbach: The estate hand-harvests grapes from the respected Grand Cru’s of Schlossberg, Mackrain, Altenberg and Furstentum. It is the historical Clos (walled vineyard) dating back to 890 AD of the former Capuchin convent with its gravelly, sandy and granite pebbles that produces the estates critically acclaimed Riesling wines. Domaine Bott-Geyl’s vineyards are located on some of the most unique ancient rocks to be found in the whole region of Alsace. It is through this rich complexity of soils, strict viticultural practices,that makes this is one of the most exciting, innovative wineries recognised throughout the wine world.
